Lily Rose & Wylde is a home-based online business situated in West Wales. Our speciality is pure Irish linen because we love its sensuous drape and feel, its strength and luminosity.
Most importantly, we are proud to support a sweatshop-free EU textile industry whose agricultural and manufacturing processes have always been kinder to the environment than the detrimental processes associated with the manufacture of synthetic fibres and cheap mass produced cotton (certified organic cotton excepted). What is more, we're delighted to be promoting a traditional UK industry, our linens being woven in Northern Ireland from highest quality flax yarns.
Although Irish linen production is much diminished nowadays, our mission is to increase awareness of the virtues of these beautiful textiles - and in so doing, help keep the old-established Irish linen industry alive for posterity. Indeed, it never ceases to amaze us that quite a number of people we meet are unaware of the fact that flax linens are still woven at all in Northern Ireland.
Irish linen is not cheap, even at our competitive prices, but we're sure you will be pleased with our current offers on Irish linen sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers - also, Irish linen fabrics and table linens. We'd be surprised if you found a better deal elsewhere for these premium quality home textiles. Irish linen, from the humble tea towel and laundry bag, through to exquisite sheets and damask table coverings, makes a beautiful and traditional gift for weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions - or simply buy it to spoil yourself!
In addition to fine linens, we offer vintage style nightwear and a collection of bespoke upholstered seating. Having partnered with furniture makers in the UK, our services for upholstered seating enable you to create the chaise longue, sofa or chair of your dreams.
Finally, we'd like to thank you for visiting our new website and trust you will return frequently and watch us grow!
My lady's chamber is redolent with the sweet breath of roses;
Her bed resplendent in fine linen.
Eyes heavy-lidded, she's lulled by the river's song and distant lambs bleating.
Now drifting...drifting...into flaxen sleep.
