 Superior Quality Irish Linen Sheeting FabricThis soft white, finely woven Irish linen fabric is used to make Thomas Ferguson's Superior quality bed linen (product code 012), which is available to buy from our online shop. The fabric is 300cm (almost 10ft) wide. This is double the average width of fabrics most commonly available from retail outlets. So do please take this into account when comparing prices.
The linen comprises highest quality flax yarns and is suitable for making your own linen sheets, table coverings, curtains and even clothing.
If desired, the fabric can be dyed at home using a product suitable for dyeing cotton and linen in the washing machine at 40 degree C. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Some people buy pure linen sheets and use them to make bathroom and dining room curtains. Buying the sheeting fabric itself, however, is likely to work out cheaper, especially if you intend to make more than one extra wide curtain.
