 Guest Books for Lovers of Nostalgic and Bohemian StyleA collection of unique handmade boxed guest books decorated in vintage Bohemian mood. The guest books and presentation boxes are made with fair trade handmade papers and card, including mulberry paper from Thailand, lokta paper from Nepal and linen paper sheets from India.
As the handmade paper is acid-free, it's perfect for photos, pressed flowers and paper keepsakes which can be placed between the pages.
 Choosing Your ColoursAlthough the colour white does not feature very much in our designs, we would be delighted to cover your wedding guest book in a white coloured 100% silk dupion fabric if this is your dream.
On the other hand, we are happy to accommodate requests for an all-black colour scheme. Other possibilites are dark chocolate and ivory; art deco red and green; turquoise and peach; rose pink and ice blue; midnight blue and silver; or indeed, any other hues according to your own good taste.
Simply phone or email us to discuss your colour preferences and we will do our best to meet your requirements - either by adjusting our existing designs featured below, or by creating something totally different in accordance with your own specifications.
Usually there is no additional charge for commissioning a new design, except for the cost of materials not already available from our stock.
When choosing a wedding guest book, why bind yourself to the bridal white tradition? Bridal white only became fashionable after Queen Victoria chose to wear a white gown and veil on her wedding day.
Before the Victorian era, wedding decor and wedding gowns were flamboyantly colourful, at least for those who could afford such luxury!
Aside from weddings, our guest books are delightful for marking other celebrations and occasions - such as special birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, bon voyage parties - or perhaps to celebrate the birth of a baby. Creative writers and poets may also enjoy using these books to record their most precious musings.

Personalisation of your guest book
If you would like names and dates included, this option is available at no extra charge. A card with your chosen wording will be attached to the inside hardcover. You can request your chosen wording at checkout where you will see a box entitled "Any Special Requirements". Alternatively, please click here to email us with your required wording.
 Some designs include pure silk roses, which we make ourselves using finest quality pure silk fabrics, including pure silk chiffon and handloom silk dupion. It's important to mention that most ready-made 'silk' roses are actually made from cheap synthetic fabrics such as polyester and nylon. We much prefer the soft static-free texture and appearance of real silk.
Other books are embellished with art nouveau reproduction brass stampings, oxidised to impart an aged appearance. Most stampings are also available with an antiqued sterling silver plating if preferred. These pieces are normally used for making quality vintage style jewellery. The stampings are mostly manufactured in the USA, using the original dies and other tooling dating from the Edwardian era.
 Our guest books vary in price according to the embellishments used. For example, early vintage lace (1930s-1940s) and antique lace (pre-1920s) are increasingly hard to find and continue to increase in price. Our stock of lace is constantly being replenished.
Occasionally we may come across an extra special piece of lace which costs more than average - and thus, the listed price of the guest book will reflect this.
 Above is our extra special 'Flapper Girl' inspired guest book with antique French embroidered lace (c.early 1920s), pure silk handpainted ribbon border and silk dupion corsage rose. This design is also available with freshwater pearls on request. NB: having run out of the above lace in November 2011, we've just acquired another small batch, sufficient to make a few more guest books.
All guest books are decorated to order and despatched within 14 business days. Despatch may take slightly longer if you have requested a custom design, or perhaps a different colour fabric which may need to be ordered specially for you.
If you have a tight deadline to meet, please contact us before placing an order to find out if we are able to finish your project in time. We are currently receiving a high volume of orders which are being fufilled in strict rotation.
Postage is our usual flat-rate charge of £2.50
