Available in both polished and painted finishes, our collection of high quality reproduction furniture is inspired by designs popular in the French Louis, Georgian, Regency and Victorian periods. Handmade from solid mahogany, with certain pieces comprising a combination of mahogany and rattan, this collection surpasses the dictates of fashion and will endure for many years - perhaps even becoming the family heirlooms and antiques of tomorrow.
Rather than being 'distressed' in shabby chic style, the antique white pieces of furniture are first painted in plain white, followed by a light application of a special antique wax which reveals the detailed carving.

The furniture is made in Indonesia by master craftsmen, the wood coming from government licenced timber plantations. Indeed, it's important to emphasise that mahogany grown in Indonesian plantations has been cultivated for centuries, the plantations having been established by the Dutch colonists who recognised the value of mahogany for furniture making. The main concern about mahogany is illegal logging of the species in natural rainforest habitats such as the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil
The timber used in the making of this fine reproduction furniture collection is kiln dried to prevent warping or splitting. Each piece is also hand polished and checked prior to despatch from our supplier's warehouse in the UK. This collection is quite different from uniform machine made furniture, for no two pieces are identical.
Low flat-rate delivery charge for French style beds
The delivery charge for all beds featured on this page is only £2.50 which is charged automatically at checkout. Due to the high cost of fuel, however, there is a surcharge of £25 for postcodes in Scotland and other remote regions of UK as outlined at the end of this page.
If your chosen furniture is in stock, it will be delivered within 14 working days from receipt of your payment (often sooner), although please allow a further 3-5 days for deliveries to remote regions of the country
Certain items tend to sell out quickly. If you order more than one bed to be delivered to the same address, we offer £25 cash-back on each subsequent bed. Details supplied when you place an order.

Delivery Charges for Antique French Style Beds
The delivery charge for beds featured on this page is only £2.50 to most UK addresses. However, due to the high cost of transport, our furniture carriers must add a surcharge for delivery to remote regions of the UK. For all addresses in Scotland, the furniture carrier's surcharge for beds is £25 for the first item and £10 for subsequent items delivered to the same address at the same time.
