Tea on a Tray

Here you will find solidly built handcrafted vintage style butler's trays/folding tables, finished in a choice of either distressed soft white or natural limed. These pieces are very versatile and can be used as occasional tables, lamp tables, side tables, conservatory tables, or even bedsides.

A traditional use is to carry breakfast in bed or tea and biscuits. The tray simply lifts off and the stand folds away neatly when not required.

Additionally, where bedroom space is limited, a butler's tray doubles as a small dressing table - simply place it against a wall and hang a mirrror above it (see image at the foot of this page). It could also be used as a hall or console table on which to place the telephone or vase of flowers.

A butler's tray also makes a useful portable garden table for serving your guests; but always remember to bring it indoors when not in use, as it should not be left out in the rain.

When shopping around for this style of tray/table, do consider that we are offering a solid piece of furniture made from sustainable mango wood. Similar looking trays are frequently made from cheap MDF.
