 Lily Rose & Wylde Luxury Linen Lavender Bag With Pure silk EmbellishmentsThis gorgeous pure flax linen lavender bag has an attractive scalloped edge and is tied with pure silk ribbon, embellished with a handmade raw silk dupion rose. The gathered linen top creates the effect of a white flower unfurling.
In choosing this bag, you have two gifts in one! If you don't wish to replace the lavender once the aroma has faded, the flax linen fabric can be opened out, washed and ironed and used as a pretty coaster or placemat - or perhaps use it as a decorative plate cover/doily for presenting your celebratory cakes and other delicacies.
The fabric is woven from pure flax yarns (not cotton). Fine linen is three or four times more expensive than cotton, thus we decided not to compromise by using ordinary satin ribbon to tie this bag.
Both the handmade rose and the ribbon tie are made from 100% pure silk. It's important to mention that almost all ready-made fabric flowers commonly known as 'silk flowers' are actually made from synthetic materials like polyester! For this reason, we decided to make our own from hand loom raw silk dupion fabric and pure silk ribbon.
