Gorgeous and affordable, lustrous top grade freshwater pearl earrings

We offer the highest quality freshwater pearl earrings, all with 925 sterling silver fittings. The stud earrings shown on this page are made with large pearls (9-10mm) and are available in three colours: white, lavender toned pink, bluish black and delicate pink.

We also offer smaller size 6-7mm white pearl stud earrings for understated elegance.

For a romantic flourish, you can opt for the earrings to be packaged in a heart shaped chintz tin, together with a scattering of dried rose or delphinium petals, whichever are available at the time.

A commonly accepted system for determining freshwater pearl quality

AAA - Highest quality pearl, virtually flawless with high lustre, and at least 95% free of flaws. Indeed, if any flaws are present, they will be hard to detect. This is the quality we choose for our exquisite stud earrings.

AA - high lustre, 85% free of flaws. Unless stated as top grade, some of our drop earrings include AA grade pearls. A few minor flaws impart characterful qualities, which many people appreciate when choosing genuine freshwater pearls rather than faux pearls.

A - Low grade pearls with less lustre and usually more than 25% flawed (e.g. slightly misshapen and/or having indentations and bumps). We never use this grade for our jewellery.
