Lily Rose & Wylde Handmade Bohemian Style Guest book with presentation box

This guest book we've named "Enchanted Roses". The book it's covered back and front in champagne coloured handloom raw silk dupion fabric, with its characteristic texture and slubby weave.
The front cover we've embellished with a piece of vintage broderie anglaise trim (c.1920), together with three handmade corsage roses. We've created the roses using 100% silk fabric in dusky pink. Amongst the roses are four naturally shaped freshwater pearls.
Curling tendrils of pure silk embroidery ribbons - hand painted in delicate golds, greens, blues and pinks (colours will vary according to availability), unfurl over the spine of the book, imparting an ethereal quality. Hand painted silk ribbon - in delicate blue moving through pink - is used to edge the broderie anglais trim.
Please note that the hand painted pure silk embroidery ribbon shown above and bordering the lace trim, is neither solid pink nor solid blue, but mutable shades of palest blue and pink merging along the ribbon strand. If you'd prefer a solid colour silk ribbon in either pink or blue, this can be requested at checkout in the box entitled "Any Special Requirements".
The handmade box is panelled with handmade textured lokta a jute fibre paper - and decorated with a real pressed rose gathered from the garden. The flower is sealed with a matte decoupage product which helps protect against the detrimental effects of humidity and UV light, thus helping to preserve the delicate colours.
The box includes a border of vintage lace trim around the outer edge. As we use only vintage textiles, the trim used will vary from one presentation box to another, making each presentation box unique.

Whilst stocks last, instead of a cotton lace edging we have available an alternative trim for the presentation box - a silky vintage roses trim made in the 1940s to 1950s. This is probably made of rayon, which derives from plant celluose (extracted from wood pulp). For this reason, rayon is generally regarded as a 'natural' silk-like material. The colourway is soft pinks and pale greens as shown below.
The high quality guest book has 40 unlined sheets of acid-free, handmade linen paper in pale cream (image immediately below shows larger size book with soft white paper). The front cover of the guest book is padded. The presentation box lid is also padded.

The inside of the guest book hard cover, back and front, is embellished with unbleached texutred banana fibre paper as shown above.
Size of book: 15 x 23cm (6 x 9.4 inches) with 40 sheets, the box is a little larger.
LARGER SIZE GUEST BOOK OPTION
This design can be transposed to our larger size, heavier weight padded guest book and presentation box if preferred. The larger book comprises: 40 handmade soft off white linen paper sheets (80 writing sides). With its heavier weight paper, this guest book can be used as a photo album as well.
Dimensions: 20.32cm x 25.5 (8x10 inches), the presentation box is a little larger.
