Lily Rose & Wylde handmade vintage lace and silk guest book and box

This elegant guest book is covered back and front in champagne coloured handloom raw silk dupion fabric, with its characteristic texture and slubby weave.
The front cover we've embellished with a garland of pale ivory coloured cotton guipure lace with sinuous floral design. The lace was made in France in the early 1920s - an antique piece beloved by collectors. To this we've incorporated top quality jewellery grade freshwater pearls in lustrous white.
Please note: the spine of the book is wrapped in another piece of vintage cotton lace - this will vary from one project to another, depending on available supplies at the time. For the time being, the main 1920s guipure lace sweeping across the front cover will be exactly as shown in these images.
Unless you opt for a plain undecorated box, the lid is covered in handmade unbleached lokta paper.
If you opt for the larger format book, the outer edge of box will be decorated with a border of vintage lace. The lace edging will vary from one presentation box to another, as our stock of vintage lace trim is constantly being replenished.
The box lid is further embellished with a pressed pink rose gathered from the garden. The flower is sealed with a decoupage finishing product which will help protect against the detrimental effects of humidity and UV light, thus helping to preserve the delicate colours of the rose.
In the option boxes below, instead of a real pressed rose, you can choose to have a handmade silk dupion rose to match the book cover, together with freshwater pearls. The rose will be positioned on the left hand corner of the box. Alternatively, you can choose a plain undecorated box. The price of your project will be adapted accordingly.
The high quality guest book has 40 unlined sheets of acid-free, handmade linen paper in pale cream. The front cover of the guest book is slightly padded.

The inside of the guest book hard cover, back and front, is embellished with unbleached lokta paper as shown above.
This design can be transposed to our larger size guest book if preferred.

LARGE SIZE BOOK WITH EXTRA THICK DECKLE EDGED PAGES OPTION
Deckle (torn) edged large guest book for that arty Bohemian look.
Although this book has fewer pages than the previous large size guest book , it's heavier in weight due to the extra thick handmade paper sheets. This book comes with the same presentation box options as above. The paper is heavy enough to add a few photos if you wish. These can be attached using self-adhesive photo corners.
