This wedding guest book is wrapped front and back in champagne coloured handloomed pure silk dupion fabric, with its characteristic texture and slubby weave. The front cover features a panel of vintage style linen fabric with faded roses and butterfly print, the colourway is chalk pink and creamy white.
The fabric panel is bordered with 100% pure silk ribbon in varigated hues of dusky pink.
To this we've added two dusky pink silk roses, made from handloom pure silk dupion fabric. Amongst the roses are four naturally shaped freshwater pearls - two lustrous white pearls and two palest pink pearls. Cascading from the roses and pearls are curling tendrils of pure silk embroidery ribbon streamers - in hues of dusky pink, champagne and palest green, imparting a sense of joyousness!
The spine of the guest book is wrapped in a pretty piece of vintage cotton lace in creamy white or ivory, the exact colour and design varying from one book to another, depending on the lace we have available at the time.
Unless you opt for an undecorated presentation box, it will be embellished with a sheet of handmade unbleached lokta paper.
If you order the larger format guest book, in addition the box lid will be trimmed with a piece of vintage lace. The lace edging will vary from one presentation box to another.
The box lid is further embellished with a pressed pink rose gathered from the garden. The flower is sealed with a decoupage finishing product which will help protect against the detrimental effects of humidity and UV light, thus helping to preserve the delicate colours of the rose.
The high quality guest book has 40 unlined sheets of acid-free, handmade linen paper in pale cream. The front cover of the guest book is slightly padded.
Above is the smaller format guest book with pale cream handmade linen paper sheets, shown against a white wall to depict colour contrast.
The inside of the guest book hard cover, back and front, is embellished with unbleached lokta paper as shown above.
This design can be transposed to our larger size guest book if preferred.
