Lily Rose & Wylde Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Lily Rose & Wylde uses and protects any information that you supply when you use this website.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Lily Rose & Wylde may change this policy from time to time by updating this page in keeping with current regulations. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1st January 2013

What We Collect

We collect the following information each time you place an order through the Lily Rose & Wylde website:
your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and email address

What we do with the information we gather

We use the above information for the sole purpose of fulfilling orders placed through our website www.vintage-mood.co.uk
and for internal record keeping.  Unlike most online businesses, our policy is never to bother our customers with marketing communications, whether by email, phone, fax, text, or any other means. We will only ever contact you if there is a query with an order you have placed with us; or if you have requested that we contact you - for example, to let you know when a previously out-of-stock item has arrived.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.  One possible exception is the  unlikely event that we are required by law to provide your address in order to assist a police investigation.

We never store your credit or debit card details. When you place an order online via our website, you will be forwarded to our third party secure payment processors, Cardsave or PayPal.

When you place an order over the telephone, your credit card details are never stored, but disposed of immediately after your payment has been successful.  If payment is unsuccessful - for example, if the card has expired - we will contact you to request that you use a different card for your order.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic.

We use the third party traffic log, Statcounter, which uses cookies to identify which pages on our website are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.  Being a third party provider, the information is never stored on our system. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. However, you will need cookies enabled if you wish to place an order through our online checkout system.  The shopping basket facility can only function properly if cookies are enabled on your computer.  Cookies make it possible for you to order more than one item at a time; otherwise the electronic shopping basket will be automatically emptied each time you leave the shopping basket page in order to choose another item.
